The Sicilian company is the beneficiary of the first intervention of the “2i Enterprise Program” by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.
We are in Carini, a town in the province of Palermo: Montalbano Recycling, SME specialized in technologies for waste material treatment and recycling, wins the first funding of the “2i Enterprise Program” (“Programma 2i per l’Impresa”) by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, SACE and FEI (BEI group). The program aims to help Italian small and medium enterprises to access the resources of the so-called Juncker Plan for internationalisation and innovation.
Sace (Gruppo Cassa depositi e prestiti), Iccrea BancaImpresa (the corporate bank of Credito Cooperativo – Gruppo bancario Iccrea) and the bank Don Rizzo Credito Cooperativo of Western Sicily have opened a € 400 thousand credit line to support the innovation and international growth of the Sicilian company.
This is the first step of the “2i Enterprise Program”: the funding, guaranteed by SACE and provided by Iccrea BancaImpresa and Banca Don Rizzo Credito Cooperativo of Western Sicily, will cover the expenses of plants and machinery renovation to help the recycling company expand in Europe, U.S., Mexico and Gulf Countries.
